Adventures at Starbucks this AM

On the days that I don't have time to make home made coffee, I usually stop by Starbucks. This AM, it wasn't any different except for the fact that, I happened to lock my keys in the car (which also had my ID badge that allows me to enter the work bldg.).
 
Luckily, a co-worker found some charity in her heart (Bless her heart) to let me in. It's only about a 5 min walk to Starbucks, and I managed to get a locksmith to come over to open it. Of course, it just happened that I drove my brother-in-laws car today (which I rarely do), my auto insurance didn't cover the locksmith fees, and I had to fork out $41.95 due to my own fault.

I hate when that happens.

 Sometimes you are the bird and sometimes you are the windshield. Usually if I'm the windshield the bird is freakin' enormous.

 I'm glad it all worked out for you in the end Mesh.Sorry to hear about that. It certainly sounds like one of those days. Hopefully all will be better from here on out.

Thanks Tim. I'm generally a pretty laid back type of guy and never really let this "small stuff" get to me......I have bigger things that occupy my mind.......like BECAN!!!

I used to fight off a rooster that would attack me every morning when I went in to collect eggs.  I don't even like eggs.  He'd lunge at me and try to claw my eyes out.  I'd beat him senseless.
 
Office politics haven't really changed that much.

Of course having 3.5 (.5 = baby girl on the way) women in the house, can sometimes sound like a chicken coop, and the work at home is much more.......ummmm.....demanding. But, my son & I always fight the good fight (sometimes until the bitter end).........and eventually give in.

Enjoyed the coffee.

I have a sure fire way for you to have the last line in each and every argument  discussion  pleading session with the ladies in the house..

My wife knows me way too well and knows that I'm a fighter (at least on principles)........she also knows that if I do say "yes dear", I'm being sarcastic or just pretending to agree. That sometimes gets me into more trouble. Most of the time, it's best (in my interest) to chose which battles to engage in and which one's not to. She's truly my best friend and I'll do whatever it takes to keep that friendship. :)
