Aestas

Something different from me in the sense that this is strangely the first track I have written that is purely in the major key. Inspired by the sudden warm weather we are gladly receiving in the UK. Well at least where I am :), enjoy.

I listened to this a few times and to be honest the intro did not grab me. Between the birds sounds and that synth pad (waves crashing sound or wind blowing?) is seemed a little muddled. Maybe the intro could be a be a bit softer and build up. It was a whole different story when the melody kicked it. It's a very nice tune just the right tempo with nice synth lines and pads. Good mix and overall I really liked it. Great work.

Nice tune...    It does have a bit of a "warm" feel to it.         I agree with MCi regarding the intro though... while it has a good intro structure, dynamically it sort drops out a bit after the environment sounds stop.   Perhaps try cross-fading out those sounds a little longer, and maybe slowly build up the drums a little more before the main section kicks in?   Either way, it was a pleasant listen!

I like the song! The mix is a little muddy and a bit distorted on my system. All the instruments seem to be in the same "space".  Good song!

Thanks for the feedback. I have had mixed feedback about the intro but will certainly revisit this when time allows and give it a rethink.

Not sure what you are hearing bayoubill as none of the metres my end are clipping and have plenty of headroom. Can I ask what your listening environment is?

I like it Biodiode and I don't have a problem with the intro - it sets the scene quite nicely

I like the piece a lot. Very catchy, and has a nice momentum to it, and it held my interest all the way through.

However, I also had a bit of an issue with the opening part. The bird/ambience is quite nice and worked with the rest of the piece, in general. But I thought it opened a bit too bluntly. I wonder if a longer and more gentle fade-in might work better. Right now, it sort of arrives at full volume out of nowhere.

Just my two cents. Really nice work, overall, though.
