After more than 20 years, I am super happy with Cakewalk.

I gotta say this...

Sometimes I believe we've all been brainwashed to be cynics.  Maybe this is just a new and horrible symptom of the modern age, I' not sure, but this forum is constantly being bombarded with prophesies of doom and the more that Cakewalk delights me with updates and good news, the more the prophets of doom seem to propagate their baseless speculation.

Here's my point of view after 20-something years as a customer:
  • The future looks as bright as it's ever been.
  • Lifetime upgrades have been offered.
  • We are seeing truly meaningful updates every month that used to take many months, or years.
  • Almost every update delights me in one way or another.
  • Fixes are rolled out more quickly than ever.
  • We, as customers have a voice that is listened to more than just about any other company I have ever dealt with.
  • Sonar is evolving is a way that makes it easier and more fun to use (in my opinion).
  • I have put my faith in this company for almost two and a half decades and have not yet been let down.
So, things just look better and better to me.  There are all kinds of speculative "bad news" stories on this forum, but if you judge Cakewalk by it's fruits, none of them stack up.

    Hi Bill...

I'm with you! Though I voice my disagreements with some issues, overall, working with The Bakers have always been an amazing pleasure to work with!

Since Greg H's original days the Twelve Tone/Cakewalk team has been made up of great people turning out an increasingly greater product...!
