Very smooth Tony, probably just me and no doubt Ed would disagree but just a tad and I mean a tad back on the bass.

I got to say the bass sounds fine ot me on my monitors, but maybe eqd a tad out around the 200 frequency range.  You are so lucky to have such a great voice!  Just such a good job on this, wow!

    Betcha by golly wow...

Nice easy jam for a Friday night. Everything sounds terrific. Might boost your vocal mids a smidge, as I strained here and there to get the lyrics.

Love everything you put out and this is no exception Tones!
Beautiful smooth melodies and I love this pop beat works so well.

I will say one thing, I would like hear more of you vocal melody lines in the middle range tony like when you come in at 2:39, you have  lot of power and grit in this range (just a change from the higher smooth stuff).

    Cian

I really liked the little modulation thing at 0:47 and the chorus seemed just right... it sounded fresh and original and immediately familiar.

I thought the song was good. Nice textures and sounds. However the talking part at the beginning of the song oozes Strummy and sports bra too much. It needs to go. Humour aside, good job.

Again, Thank you all my brothers of X1
James, Dean & Danny, the rhythm guitar is RealGuitar from MusicLab and the spanish guitar (and bass) are samples that come with Independence Free from Yellow Tools, it's their free sampler with a small but excellent library.
Dean, vocal chain goin' into the DAW is the Rode NT1-A going into the RNC (Really Nice Compressor) just to tame peaks, then into the RNP (Really Nice Preamp) both from FMR Audio. Lead vox mix chain is Pro Channel: Gloss EQ, Softtube Saturation Knob, PC2A Leveler/ Effects Bin: BBE Sonic Maximizer, Waves Mono Deesser, KJAERHUS Audio Classic Delay/ bus: ValhallaRoom reverb.

Thanks Tony. That's a great example of making a fairly inexpensive chain sound fantastic. Now I kinda wish I could A/B your voice on some different hardware...guess you'll just have to come out to SLC so we can try it out

great song as ever, and really smooth and pro vocals. not hugely keen on the 'snare' sound; that got grating quite quickly and i might change that. great job on the sampled guitars...awesome mix.

    R&B loveliness at its greatest!

2 minor glitches on 1st listen

-- The narrative lyrics run on a bit with many mini-hooks ... but no major hook catches me to chant or dance to.

-- Also, these sweet lyrics don't allow an instrumental break.

But the excellencies of the whole thoroughly win my soul!  Impossible not to love this!
