Do you still have to turn Aim Assist on every time you open a project? I don't even understand why it's not ALWAYS on. How else do people make accurate selections and pastes using the mouse? Whenever you move the cursor in a field where you're editing, you need to know where you are. And speaking of selections. Do we have more options for midi selections in X2? Way back in 1992, Vision by Opcode was allowing us to add unlimited rules to make midi selections. For example, in a dialog box you could select midi notes C4 to F#6, then add a rule to ALSO select notes with a velocity of 127 OR all note velocities EXCEPT 127 OR note velocities BETWEEN 0 and 127, then add a rule to ALSO select notes with a duration of :352 units OR all note durations EXCEPT :352 OR note durations BETWEEN 0 and whatever, and so on. ANY midi variable(volume, pan, expression pedal, velocity, duration, controller, etc.) could be used to make a rule and this was a very powerful tool. This made cleaning up tracks in the event view a breeze!
