Akai Advance keyboard questions for early adopters :!!
Hi guyz ....
I need to validate the Akai and the NI for students , while i have been able to test the NI , still couldn't get an Akai yet so i have few questions :
1) VIP software : can we open a session with VIP software without the controller !!.?
2) Can we manage the plugin layout in the VIP (create categories , folder , rename ect )
3) Can we fully edit control knobs / pages and save as default ?
4) Can we use it as a regular midi keyboard (i suppose yes) but is there an editor "pro level" for that to get at least some great editing template poossibilities ..
5) Quality of the keyz versus the NI (that impressed me in this area )
6) What's the deal with FX ? my novation SL can handle both FX and Instruments like a champ ...
7) Multi mod : can we rename the instruments on the console (like instead of plugin name or patch name , just strings , pad , ect ..)
8) Setlist : can we rename patch names ?
9) On the controller is there a next patch or previous patch load option or do we have to scrool cthen clik everytime !!! ?
10) how many outputs does the VIP software has , understand here , if i use for exemple a multi in kontakt or UVI , will i be able to route 16 out to 16 out of VIP ?
