Akai Midimix set-up

Hi all. Can anyone help me in setting up a new Akai Midimix (received Christmas present) in Sonar Platinum.
The mixer works with the supplied Ableton Lite (loaded to check all functions of the mixer works), but I'm having trouble getting the mapping correct with the ACT function. The Midimix appears in the Preferences Midi and Controller surface. Is there a preset that I could use that would 'fool' Sonar, or any links to a site I could follow to give me step by step instructions?
Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
Tommo

Have you checked the options tab in the ACT main window, that can sometimes tell you what preset on your controller to use.

    Hi Wookiee.
Thanks for your reply. Yes I have checked the drop down list in the AcT main window , but the Akai Midimix is not listed. I think it's because the midimix is a new controller and Sonar haven't developed the correct routing to use. I thought about seeing whereabouts in the computer the Ableton software is located which does have the midimix software showing and see if, somehow, I can drag/copy it into the file where my other controller is residing. Something along those lines anyway. Will also trawl through the set-up pages in Cakewalk and see if I can get the knobs/buttons etc to stay with the allocated cells, as, although I saved the settings, when I changed banks then reverted back again, the settings had been forgotten. Still! Keeps the fun going.
    Thanks again.
