Something strange is going on today...
There is this big bright orange shiny thing in the sky, and it has been bright outside all day today. What is that orange thing???? What is going on????
For the last 30+ days we have had...
drizzle...
more drizzle...
drizzled, drizzling, drizzle...
rain...
drizzle...
clouds (brief momentary appearances of that funny round orange thing)
drizzle...
dazzling, delightful drizzle...
doleful, dreadful, draining drizzle... (there is a town a fair distance away from here named "Drain" - in a different direction than the town named "Boring" - which is probably where all the drizzle eventually goes down)
son of drizzle...
cousin of drizzle...
uncle of drizzle...
aunt of drizzle...
fourteenth cousin, seven times removed of drizzle...
rain...
drizzle...
rainy drizzle...
etc.
Actually, during summer when we actually go without drizzle or rain for at least three or four weeks at a time, after about a week or so just starts to feel a bit odd, and I start to miss it.

miguelito, guess what... you are... correct. West side, of course, as you know... btw the few times I got up there, loved it near the Canadian border. The North Cascades, and Olympic Peninusa are fabulous.

mmm..we got that funny orange thing here..after weeks..yay..even on to months of snow, snizzle, more snow, squally snow....

Indeed it is nice to see the sun, but it is kind of a recluse aroound here It is often afraid of overstaying its welcome. It tends to just show up every once in awhile, and then leaves real quick as though it doesn't like staying around.
