All Envelopes to Clips
is there a feature in X1 / hot key assignment to do this, All Envelopes to clips , That would make editing that much faster..

Hey Randy , This is what I mean.. Ok lets say I have 30 tracks in the TV, Some tracks have volume automation , some have clip gains shown. and some tracks have plugin automation , unless I revert back to clips in the edit filter, when trying to arrange clips you would not be able to move the clip around unless that tracks edit filter is set to clips, I realize there's ways to toggle trough, either with the center mouse wheel, or shift clickin the clip, whats happens to be my problem is alot of time I have my TV zoomed in so I can grab other clips in the time line, That would not be shown unless I was zoomed in, Now shift clicking you would have to zoom out a bit on the clip in order for it to work.. What Im looking for a way to hit a single key lets say the letter"C" on my qwerty keyboard as a key bind, to have all tracks envelops revert back to clips..

You can use the quick group...
Select all tracks (they should all be highlighted on the left) Then ctrl-click on the event filter's drop down list and select the item (clips)...
that will change the event filter for all tracks at once...

I think Scott Garigus posted up a video on best practices and the such for clip editing. It was very informative and well done. If you do a quick search for something like "Clip automation video" you should see his post

Thanks Keni for your response.. I am aware of quick groups. but that not exactly what Im looking for, That would defeat my purpose, multiple clicks , Im looking for a toggle button such as Record, , write, mute solo, when you double click mute all gets muted then unmuted , I want the edit filter to follow the same way , Alot of my tracks have different edit filters selected at all times, and when I wanna quickly Cntr Copy a clip I have to open the inspector then maximize it then select from the drop down, then I have to select clip in order for me to copy it.. Same goes if I just try to shift click the clip to scroll through the selection its a few steps , I have to zoom in on the clip in order for my cursor to be in the correct area of the clip at zoomed out the clip is to small to select that Area. So a simple press of a global button/keybind to revert all edit filters back to clips would speed up that process 10 fold.. I checked out Scott's Video when he posted it..thanks Eternal .. I did learn a few tricks I did not know about. GREAT VIDEO!!Thanks Scott!!!!
