All inputs on USB 2 mixer not showing up

Hey all, first post here but hopefully someone can lend a hand. I recently purchased an Alesis MultiMix8 USB 2 mixer to record multiple tracks simultaneously into Cakewalk(producer8). I thought everything was going smoothly until I noticed that only half of the board's inputs were selectable from the tracks input selector. I've pulled my hair out over the last week trying everything I can think of to get all the channels to populate with no success. I also sent a very detailed message to Alesis tech support and have yet to receive a response. I'm attaching some screen grabs in the hopes that someone with more experience than me will see some glaring setting I've overlooked. Will post system specs if needed. Thanks in advance for the help.

    That the way it will look, Ch 1 is Left and Ch 2 is right, Stereo is both.
    If you use mike input 6 then you pick input 5 Right
    Odd numbers are shown and are left Even numbers are not shown but are always right.

    PS good on you for showing the screen shots. It really gets to the heart of the matter quickly.
    But all looks good to me, Can you use ASIO mode?

    Thank you JohnnyV for the quick and accurate response! I guess I really showed my level of expertise with that one
    I am using ASIO mode as I've found it to provide the best latency when using my midi controller.
