All of a sudden crossfade thingys...

I use sonar 8.5 at my broadcast studio and recently when I split clips and then bring them together they get these crossfade thingys automatically where they never did before. I don't want them. They are a nuisance and I want to turn off whatever I've turned on.  Can you help?

Hey, 'Ol Pal, how's it going, buddy?

It's the Enable Automatic Crossfades button that looks like a 3D square between the Snap To Grid and Show/Hide Meter Buttons in the middle of the second row of buttons from the top.

Hope this helps, have a good one!

Turns out because I use a small custom tool bar set that that button wasn't even showing.  That's why I couldn't figure out what had happened.  I must've hit the key-binding that turned it on accidentally...but because I couldn't see it, didn't know how to turn it off.  I added it to my toolbar so that if it ever happens again I can shut the dang thing back off.  Thanks again, ol pal!!

Your very welcome, ‘Ol Pal.  When it comes to hidden buttons, I’ve certainly been there, done that, and got the t-shirt, my friend!

Glad to be of help, have a good one, buddy!
