All set up for tonight

Got all my mics out and plugged in, draped with a tie dye to keep the dust off.

I can't wait for the party to start!

Burned my ears with feedback through headphones this morning as I was wiring things up. Gotta hate that.

Any way, I'm super excited to make a great X3 recording!

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

Tie Dye makes the best pop filter.

First thing with X3 and that tape simulator...I touch that noise knob and it
blows...couldn't get those phones off quick enough.
That plug is a waste. Tried it a few times since and it's junk. Really the only
issue I've had using X3 and it about blew my ears up and I guess I don't get it...
I go to a lot of trouble to get clean recordings and I get a plug so I can add noise in...pftt.

Yeah, there are known issues with that plug. After a bounce to tracks the cycle hum can get quite loud.

I'll say I kinda like the sound on some tracks when it is working properly, but I sometimes have to replace the pc insert due to issues which makes it a cumbersome plugin.

In guessing we are going to get an update on this before too long. Otherwise it will go unused by me
