All synths and all vst plguins show up with a black square icon ,,,, all my instruments

All synths and all vst plguins show up with a black square icon ,,,, all my instruments

As I said all instruments when I go to instert some work fine, except they show black square instead of mini shot,,, Can this be fixed without having to prune and format and install sp again. lol thx  in advance
