All tracks NOT playing in Platinum!?!?

I am in the middle of mixing a very important project and all of my tracks no longer play in Platinum. Out of 40-50 tracks, there are only a handful that produce audio although all meters indicate signals. This is the case in all of the songs I have tried to open. Stereo tracks (in master template) seem to play ok. I am really stuck. Should I uninstall and reinstall? Any other suggestions?

    Perhaps a disk overload? Increase disk read buffer?

    At the moment I'd say there's absolutely no need to even consider uninstalling
     
    What happens if you try and solo one of these tracks that doesn't play?
     
    Is there activity on:
     
    Track meters?
    Bus meters?
    Master bus meter?
    Main out meters?
     
    Are these audio tracks or Midi based?

    CbB, Platinum, 64 bit throughout

    All of my meters are functioning. Soloing does nothing. You can barely, barely hear the affected tracks once soloed. All audio tracks

    It appears to be a Quad-Capture issue. Played just fine with my on board sound card.
