That is one very cool video Andy and fitting to that drone. To be honest, I'm not much into drone stuff, but I listened to the whole 8 minutes and actually appreciated all the evolving sounds (especially around the 7min mark onwards).....also like the video intermission around the 3 min mark .

I knew I was pushing the boat out a bit here. At least my other drone stuff had some guitar or similar going on. This was pure experimentation with what I could achieve with just the one VSTi and a load of effects.
 
I suppose the question is, to I just go ahead and post my most boring stuff anyway, and at least I've then got another link on the world wide web until it reaches page 2... I think the answer to that is a big fat yes and to hell with the consequences

Perhaps I am trying to convince the community that drones are a good thing... Don't think it's working LOL! My other drone post is falling like a stone, with not one comment. Ironically, it is probably more "interesting" than this one, relatively speaking.

I did start to add a slow piano piece over the top of this and then decided to leave it as a pure drone. It is more of an experiment, really, to see what I could create from just one synth instance and a load of effects, and I didn't want a melody over the top.
