Alright now...I'm nervous...

Grant will get his Tele this evening...
He may not like it....he may think it's firewood...man, I can
imagine all kinds of things he may say...so yes, I am very
nervous.
And what's bad is that it was at his house yesterday!
He was at work so I've had time to sweat in my dreams too!

Did I mention that I'm nervous? Do you think it made it there Ok?
Do ya think he'll tell us right away or will it take some playin' time?
Should I have a drink?
So many questions....and it's getting close to quitting time...I sure
hope he doesn't have to work over...

Hello. Is anybody out there?

I know that he's like a "giddy school boy" in anticipation of it!  he plans to rework a guitar solo on a song we're collab'ing on with the new "Spacey Tele"!

The pics were gorgeous and quality of everything was there. Ya know pics really don do justice or replace seeing something in person especially to something like that so Im sure he will be pleasantly surprised and love it.  Get ya a drink, be patient and relax!!!

    Hello. Is anybody out there?
I'm sure it'll be fine.  That really was one of the most beautiful guitars i've ever seen (and i've seen a few).  Logically, if it looks that good, the same care has likely been put into piecing it together.
I hope Grant posts his assessment of it!

PS.  i'm also trying to steer this thread away from the singlet pic, it's too early in the morning for that colour...

Oh my, I haven't played that long just for the fun of it for many years. I plan on a thorough review but for now I will just say I love it!! The 89 PRS might get sold one day but the Spacey Tele,, I'm taking to the grave.  Those gorgeous photos don't tell the whole story. I discovered body tone, a tone you can hear before you even plug it in. Brother Strummy, you're going to love yours, I was planning on using Ophelia, that's her name BTW, for Country/ Blues kind of stuff and the PRS for Metal and hard Rock, turnes out, it sounds better for Metal as well.  I finally got to bed about 3:00 last night. Still giggly here but should be ready to get some things tracked. I'll try to get that to you tonight brother Beag. More to come, just woke up and got to get my hands on her. The honeymoon is not over yet

Congrats!  It's hard to imagine that Ophelia could sound as good as she looks--because she looks that good!  Apparently, she does.  That's great.  I wish you many tears of making great music with her.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys?

My morning cup of coffee sure tastes good.
    She has a name!

My wife loved that...whatever it is...so she made one for me.
When I got an e-mail from Grant last night I felt so good and relieved
that I thought I'd try it out. It didn't fit quite like in the photo...but it
did get exciting until one of the straps got caught in the ceiling fan...
I'm alright! Don't nobody worry bought me......

Oh....I have been working on Steve's and will post pic's later
and telling about his guitar and what he's requested. I didn't want
to start  posting until Grants project was completed...and
after his review I think it's just down to making music...and I'm sure
proud for him. A new guitar and getting to collab with the folks here....
just doesn't get any better I'm thinking.

Thank you brothers all. I feel as though I haven't played a real electric guitar until now.

Yes Bapu, at heart I'm always a rocker we should mabe do a song with that theme someday, no?

Yes Michael now time to relax and enjoy her on a few collabs coming up one with Reece and one with John will be Ophelia's first assignments. Sure is great jamming with the good folks here.

I would really recommend to anyone that was shopping for a guitar to hold off and do what ever you can to get on Mike's list. I am now a firm believer that nothing beats handcrafted.

    Nice one brother Grant.

Poor ol' Michael has been pacing like an expectant father the last few days.

I think we need to hear at least an Am powerchord complete with some howling feedback from Ophelia.

I thought Bapu's bass was called 'Ophelia'.

I may have just got that impression because when he does his improv bass solo in Am everyone shouts 'Oph!, Oph!' though.

    (or do they?)

Thanks brother, I hated to keep Michael waiting but just couldn't put her down long enough, she hates to be alone. Great idea for her first tone. I tried to get it to feedback but she has so much sustain takes a while for the chord to decay. Here ya go Ophelia's 1st Am power chord.

    20 seconds of beautiful noise.
