Clean guitar work.  Nice vocal.  I like the way you did the introduction of the instruments.  It's a good tune and is a much better mix than my first offering up here.  Welcome to the board.

I like the song and the arrangement, The acoustic  guitar, vocals, and drums sound pretty decent.  I am not personally crazy about your distorted guitar tone.   Sounds like you have a ton of overdrive and high end fuzz (that you probably had to eq out) that just squashes the guitar sound.  It almost sounds like a square wave synth.
I would say back the gain/overdrive down a lot and double track that guitar again.   Just my opinion.  Nice song though and a great start!

I like the song! I agree with the distorted guitar comment. It sounds like a pod recorded direct with it's effects.

    Well done and cool song!

thanks for the feedback guys, i also agree with you about the electric guitar; it definitely is my least favorite part of the mix and sounds much too "weak" compared to how it sounds playing live.  Also just wondering about techniques you guys might use for bringing up the gain on the final mix and giving it a little more production value for a mix as a whole.

Do you guys recomend throwing a compressor on the entire mix and then raising the gain before exporting? or is it possible to do this per instrument/voice and raise each of their gains the same without muddling the entire mix?

    again thanks for the feedback
