Always swap the cable first

Oh my after a night of babying the Les Paul goin' thru

I finished up this morning and got ready to sound check it.

The Line6 Ive been using always sounds great.  Couldnt get it to sound for chit this morning though.

I grabbed 2 of my strats and tried them, same crappy sounds.

Swapped head phones-Nope

Lazy as I got, I didnt want to dig through the tote of spaghetti to find a 1/4 TS cable so idiot me says lets try and reset the Line6 to see if there is any difference-Nope

So in the toe I go, NICE!!!  I dig one out and sure as chit, its the 1/4 TS.  Wonderful, all my presets are wiped out so I get to spend all that time re-installing them

Always swap the cable first I tell myself and look at me

At least you did not buy a new one that did not work in the first place from GC. It was a mic XLR cable anyway, and suppose to be a good one from a major company.
