Am I Wasting Time Loading X3 On My Old Laptop

Assuming it is proper, am I wasting time as I try to load Sonar X3 on my old Gateway Laptop ... runing 32 Bit Win XP?  Can I use it and the Audio FX  (reverb in particular) to perform live?

    I do not believe X3 will install on XP; it does not have the MS libs needed to install or run.

    Scook is correct  - it won't even install on XP.
