Am I the only one who LOVES the DreamStation DXi?

Just curious. I absolutely love it, ever since I made a song using it exclusively. Whenever I make dubstep, my bass 99% of the times I create on DreamStation, then just add a lot of effects. I have Z3TA+, but I just don't even like it as much, although that is probably because I haven't really looked at it much. Anyone else feel the same way?

There was an article a couple of years back in Future Music magazine (I think) where the guy from Public Enemy shows how he used the Dreamstation in SONAR to do a remix of a PE song. So that makes...two of you :)

    Just kidding.

There is no 64 bit DXi version of dreamstation and DXis cannot be bridged. I did read somewhere that you could get a DXi to VST wrapper and then connect that up using bitbridge. Unlike Hans I was never a Dream Station fan so never tried.

The two "older' cake synths I prefer over Z3ta and Rapture are Triangle and Pentagon. The sounds seem to fit into my retro progressive rock (should that be regressive rock??).

    Intel i7 3770K @4.4GHz, 32GB RAM, 240GB SSD System disk, 2 x 2TB and 1 x 1TB (with SSD Cache) HDD. Windows 10,  Sonar Platinum. Roland Quad Capture.

Yeah, but you also seem to love a Theremin.

I love the Dreamstation too, but since it's not 64 bit I'm phasing it out slowly. Incidentally it also sounds great when you phase it out.

You might be able to tell from my avatar that I'm a fan of modular analog synths, and I think Dreamstation was the first digital "analog" synth I worked with.

I have used Dreamstation at times and like it, don't know why I don't use it more as it's very easy to get around. On the other hand I seem to find PSYN II in my projects pretty often and really like it.

Sadly very reduced studio equipment as it is... ASUS G750J, 8 gb RAM, Win8, Roland Quad Capture.

    I like that.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
