Ambiguous thought of the day

In the future, people will regret some of the things they haven't done yet.

Something to keep in mind.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

I look forward to foreseeing regretting my acting like an arse in perfect hindsight.

Later, I'll look back on this and regret the lack of foresight in my anticipation of future events in which I will have turned to look forward in time in hindisight and then had chosen a past with which to shape a present inconsistent with the envisoned future no longer viable from the point of view of a skewed timeline blurred by the imperfect adaptation to a closed system of cause and effect in which my future self would have reason to consider with regret the actions of his future long ago.

    ...or not.

How do I regret something I haven't done?!

Besides, I'm too busy regreting things I have done!

But then... I really haven't done anything.

    I'm confused!
