Amplitube 3 problem---Help Anyone?

Amplitube 3 problem---Help Anyone?

I have been using Amplitube 3 Free ever since it was released. It worked fine in X1 until this morning. When I try to insert it into the fx bin I get this error:  VPA PLUGIN REJECTED VPA HOST!
Has anyone else had this problem?
The only thing I can think of is I bought Notion 3 when the Cakewalk offer was on. It comes with X-Gear Amplitube. I installed it and used it a few times. I'm wondering if there is a conflict now between Free and X-Gear. Do I need to uninstall one or the other. I would prefer to keep Free on my system because I have some other amp sims in there that were free downloads from the Amplitube Shop.
Please Help if you can.

    I just ran into this problem after buying Amplitube 3.  The problem turned out to be Amplitube installing the VST dll in several places and only one of them worked.  I had to rename them one at a time until I found the right one.  Then I just deleted all the other ones (I had Amplitube Free installed before I purchased Amplitube 3, so I'm wondering if a product install screws up the free install).

         I ended up uninstalling both Free and X-gear. I got the current version of Free off their site and installed. Back up and running, although, I am afraid to try to install X-gear. I don't know if it installs with the same name as you say. And I really don't use it for playing live. I just as soon keep the Free running happily. Thanks again for the help. Maybe someday I can return the favor.
