Amplitube Fender
I just have to say that it is stunning for clean tones. This is the best clean tones I've ever heard from an amp sim.

The Fender stuff is great ... some of the best amp sims available, IMHO. If you like that sound, you might want to check out the Z-Wreck in the Amplitube shop. That thing is ALIVE ... Cheers, Eddie

I use Amplitube Fender all the time. Try the Super-Sonic for high gain...It's awesome! I really like the Deluxe reverb too.

I paid for 50% of Fender and 50% of Orange and still love them both. The Hendrix Bassman sounds awesome as well. I remember the Dr. Z sounding great, but I didn't get to play around with it as much as I wanted; got side tracked with family stuff if I remember correctly. I will have to go back and give it a go again.

Love the vibroverb and tweed deluxe in it! I've never got a sound out of the Deluxe Reverb I liked though (i.e., something that reminds me of my real DR) - so...tips??

:D Thanks for the kind words, Fender and Ampeg SVX were the first AmpliTube products I tried before working at IK and had me sold immediately.

I just tried the Fender MM. I like the gain I get from it. Nice and heavy!

Try that with a bass amp cab. Love that heavy type of tone.

Speaking of Fender emulates... I've found that most processors seem to do their best on the Fender models. Starting with my kidney bean POD to my J-station to my Boss GT-100...they all do nice DR and twins. Hey...you guys remember this old dinosaur Fender? I think it stuck around for a year or two. Huge amps back then...the attraction...but yuck... old school solid state on guitar... eh...

I meant MH. I have not tried other speaker combinations yet. I'll get there eventually. I have an Fender Eighty-Five, solid state, from about 1991 or so. I put a Cerwin Vega speaker in it and people were fooled and thought it was a tube amp. Even a guy that's been playing for over 25 years thought it was a tube amp. Before the Cerwin Vega, it was just ok.

Its funny how much a simple speaker/cab change can change the tone entirely.

Same here! These are my go to amps.

I liked the POD fenders, but thought the J-station blackface sounded like a caricature.
