I like this a lot... I'd love to hear a muted trumpet noodling in the background...

Thanks BIAB, Gary, Frank, and Herb. Thanks for listening and commenting. I took this voc from a track he did (acoustic/voc) and was just playing around with sounds and stuff. Maybe if you guys like it enough, he'll actually write some more. (that's a big maybe).

The vocal delivery reminded me of Sade. Very cool atmosphere you got going here, Tim.

Nice job, Tim. I could have used it the other night when I had my panic attack. I believe it would have soothed the savage brain. Great meditation tune, it seems. Well done, buddy!

Great tunage! I like the suggestion about the trumpet but not a mute. There is that metal thing they put in it that makes it sound tinny. That sound. BTW - Now I'm afraid to go to sleep! LOL! Definitly for the next Freddie Kruger movie!

Hi Tim, I only wish my finished pieces sound as good as your screwin around piece. Love the brush percussion and the way the piano play off each other. Mix sounds so clean and clear on my end. Love the space you have created in the mix. Reminds me of a tune you would hear in a movie sound track. Like Frank, I also could hear a muted horn being used in this piece. EXCELLENT job! Kev

Very nice – loaded with atmosphere - you created a deep ,lush space for the vocals to wander around in. The irony of “I’m here” when the vocal is so disembodied – positively ghostly. It’s a short piece which is normally a good thing when stepping off into the abyss but I could easily have been captivated for a few more minutes. Great job. Would be an awesome intro piece for a show like Dexter. Screwin' around?

MAN! Sounds like Light pushing in to the darkness. And the piano melody. What subtilty. What perfect restaint. After the 4th listen i realized it doesn't really need to be longer. Everything had been said. The "I AM". So "close your eyes"(and take your rest now?). Really NICE Tim. Here's to hoping that he'll write some more. Thanks for sharing.
