I was going to, but then I noticed the E string didn't match the other tree.

So I'd have to send it here first so I could remedy that, tune it up, check it over thoroughly and break the new strings in properly.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

Don't worry - it should definitely be ready by Christmas (of 2033, give or take a few years).

It sounded right for a split second then I thought 'Dr. Whom?". By then I had hit the reply button. It's like seeing me in a swimsuit. It just can't be taken back and unseen

A bass in the hand is worth two shrubbery, or something like that.

Personally, I'd be a bit suspicious of a 1969 bass that doesn't have any buckle rash!

Hi,

I soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo regret having let go my EB-0 a long time ago ... with the pegs backwards and all that ... it still is/was the best sounding thing I ever played on!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

EB-0. Pfffft. That's a toy compared to the EB-3. I know I had both (in series not in parallel).

The value of the bass is right there in the name. EB-0 vs. EB-3. Three is better than zero, ya?

pfft.  it's only got 4 strings.  can't be worth near as much as a bazz with 5!

Poor bill.  I used to speak southern. Oh how I miss Dixie.  Sweet tea, grits red eye gravy and Mama's boys.  I don't mean that as an insult.  I don't like men who don't or didn't love their Mama's. It's *who*though.
