An "odd" observation

I've noticed that NO ONE has a Hughes & Kettner Amp sim...

Not even a "non-licensed" unofficial one...

Just an observation...

Perhaps they don't have a "signature" sound. Alex Leifson uses them.

Oh they do...THAT is why Alex uses them...
I play through a H & K Grandmeister 36 on 5 Watts through
a Marshall 1960 AV 4 x 12 Cabinet live and blow away our rhythm
guitarist's Marshall JCM1000 through a 1960 A Cabinet...

I can't imagine what the Grand Daddy...the Triamp can do!  At $4,000
it should be my butler...LOL

Amplitube has a couple of the amps mentioned.

American Tube Clean 1 = Fender Super Reverb
JH 1200 = Sunn 1200s

I checked and there is a discussion on this at the Fractal forum - of all the amps modeled in that beast there is no H&K...

A couple of years back I bought an H&K Tubemeister 36 - worst purchase I ever made. Seduced by the blue lights I fear... The built in reverb is noisy (hissy) as hell, even after H&K swapped it for another new one and had that one back to check it out, to no avail. They don't really have a signature sound either IMHO, so I guess that's why you don't find software emulation. I need to put it on Ebay and hope for the best.

I don't have any of that on mine Sky...so don't know
what was wrong with yours...were you running
through a power conditioner?  Because many times
your own "Electrical" can be the culprit....just a thought.

I have no noise...and the built in noise gate works great IMO
as a further level of protection against unwanted noise...

Just looked it up and you are correct...

The GT-100 has a patch called T-Amp Lead that simulates the
Triamp Lead Channel...
