AND got the $200 voucher ... I got NPP & Tapes, Tubes, & Transistors for the normal selling price (not retail price) of NPP alone... Master Tape rocks out with it's socks out...a bit of a CPU hog..but, makes a world of difference... How is the NLS? How does it compare to VCC?

I've only used the NLS on two projects instead of my usual VCC but the project I used the "Spike" console on made me sit up and take notice. If the "Mike" and "Nevo" are just as good I think I prefer it to the Slate. But really just more crayolas in the mix box:-)

I have been wanting these "crayolas" for some time, been waiting for a good sale. This looks like the best sale so far for NLS since it came out--good price from Wavesuniverse. Now I have to free up some funds as I spent my plugin allowance for the Summer; however, I know that it will be on sale again, sooner or later, but this is a good price. yorolpal: do let us know your thoughts as you continue to play with these new crayolas. Really interested in how the Mike Hedges classic console sounds. Iv'e got neve and SSL stuff, but that Hedges console is tempting. So, when you get it on a mix, let us know how it sounds.

The Hedges console is exactly like Mike describes...WARM...and, while not for everything, is just amazing for fattening up a mix. And, as I said, the Spike is tres fab. Next I'm going to put the Nevo through it's paces. I'll keep ya posted.
