Beautiful. I think it sounds romantic too, and sitting in front of the fire after a walk in the snow. How about "Feet at the Fireplace".

You have such a refined style.  What is your musical background?  You sound trained as I don't often hear ear players in America having such classical tastes.

I think the mix needs a touch more warmth, maybe a little low end EQ bump?  Very pretty tune, as always.

According to Soundcloud, along with Rik, I should also be following No Doubt (which I love) and Al Jazeera. Is there something you are not telling us Rik? Should we nickname you Jihad Rik? Lovely piece. It rings no bells for me, so if it is based on something already done, I have never heard it. Well done.

Hi John, thanks, doesn't matter, was just wondering .

Hi Lynn, thanks, that made my day ; )

Hi , James, thanks, "Entwined " I like it.

Hi Dodsie, thanks for the suggestion.

Hi Grant, thanks, glad you like it.

    Hi Daryl,thanks for listening.

Hi Shad,I have a feeling those recommendations are pretty random, I don't even like "No doubt" ; )

Hi Daryl, thanks,I really shouldn't touch the eq, I thought it sounded to warm ; )

I don't have any formal training, started on electric guitar 30 years ago. Switched to steelstring acoustic and open tunings 15 years  ago and finally 5 years ago I made the switch to nylonstring guitars.

Very nice, Rik.  So what exactly was unoriginal about that?  It's a lovely piece, and beautifully played as usual.  Reminded me of a warm summer day, and therein may be your title.

Wait, you're the one that always titles these things.  If YOU can't, then I'm really screwed!  lol

I wouldn't be surprised if it sounds familiar because it's like something else YOU wrote.  I've done that a time or two...wondering where that cool couple of measures came from...oh yeah, I wrote that.  lol  Anyway, I love this one too, even nameless. :)

I really like this – there is something raw and organic about the sound of nylon stringed guitars - there's nothing else like it. They have the ability to go whisper quiet and then rain down fire and passion with the snap of a single finger – it’s pretty amazing. I digress – cool tune, for some reason it reminds me of sitting in the center of town on Old Mesilla NM. Several nice themes in there – none of which I have heard before.  Thanks for chilling me out.

I haven't been in the Songs forum for quite a while. I always look forward to hearing your playing when I stop by Rik. I've never heard a bad performance or recording from you since I've been coming here and I wish I could play half as good as you do. Thanks, Bub.
