Annette Funicello RIP

Man, was she the darling of thousands of young boys in the late 50s early 60s. I actually sat next to her table at iHop many years ago before she got MS.

Goodbye Annette.

Gear: A bunch of stuff.

    Hi,

Nahhh ... there were better looking women in Ipanema and Copacabana ... and the fun stuff they did was not cardboard like her movies. It pretty much tells you, and shows, how the movie studios controlled the media in those days.

I'm not a fan of that era at all, and it was an era that killed more music in America since the overzealous original settlers went after the native americans! It's not her fault, of course, but it was a product and a way to try and simply sell their product and had nothing to do with "movie", or any attempt to make it meaningful. Elvis was the same thing!

Nice fantasy for Americans that never travelled and saw anything else?

I hope we don't have as many R.I.P.s for awhile ...man seems like everyone is croaking.

I want everyone to rest in peace, wake up in the morning and be above the grass :)

I just check every morning to see if I'm in a Hefty bag out on the curb.

If so, I tear through the bag and go back inside the house for some becan.
