The thing that drives me crazy most is trying to get the sonic quality to be good LOL. It's quite a challenge when there's so much density in a track like this one. But that's why I love the challenge, and I hope I keep getting better every day! Thanks for the comments.

Thought it sounded a bit mono with the beats, but once that phat lead came in, it opened everything up. Could use a db more kick to make it real club-y, but it is almost too good for club!

Thanks for the comments, James. Yeah sometimes I feel the kick could use either a little more level or a tiny bit of mid/upper freq boost.

Nice job Billy, totally groovy! It was exceptionally cool once it all came together, I liked the percussion touch. Very good mix and production.

In regards to "another place", at first I wasn't feeling it to much, (I really am not a fan of staight beat) but as it got going, I started liking it better. Especially right around 25% in when that new lead came in, I was digging that for sure. I still like breaks better, But this is a pretty good track. Production wise, everything sounded good to me. Very nice stereo field IMO. In regards to "snotty girl" loved the 303ish sounds. very nice groove. I thought you did a very good job of keeping the drums from being boring (always a problem IMHO with straight beat). One thing though, you really made me feel like the song was about to take off with a major blow up at one point, but then it never really happened. It would have been nice if it did. Either way though nice song.

"You know I can't dance, you know I can't dance." Well, that's me, but it didn't stop me from enjoying this 4x4 wall of sound you got going there, Billy. Very nice job on this. What synth were you using for the res sweeps?

What synth were you using for the res sweeps? Thanks Phil. Some of the sweeps are done via FabFilter's Volcano plugin (filter). Some are coming from the synth itself (Dune in this case). But there's all kinds of stuff going on there ;)

A bit out of my 'comfort zone' with this genre Bill, but the mix/production sounds really good on the speakers. You've got some nice panning/spread goin' on here. Larry
