One of my favorites ZZ Top boogie songs and you guys did a great job on this cover.....bravo Grant on the boogie woogie chops/vocals/harmonies. Enjoyed it very much!! My 2 cents......this is something you might just test out to see if it works (or not).......try putting the main vocal in the center channel and the the harmonies panned out to either side to give it a fuller balance?? Just a thought....not necessary at all though. I really like what you guys did on this....fantastico tones & chops........just El Loco!!

Nice work Grant, and Bapu too, of course I'm with Mesh regarding the vocals, but, like Mesh says, "not necessary."

Thanks brothers Mesh and Andy. Lol that just makes perfect sense to me now. I guess I was imagining them in concert with the panning. New mix coming soon. I'm also waiting on the Recab 4 upgrade email for one of the guitar tracks on this.

Nice... Always like that tune. Sounds pretty good here, and the performances are all solid. Look forward to hearing the re-panned vocals - that's about the only thing that sounded "out of place" to me.

Yes - we must respect the classics! nice job guys. Id also be tempted to bump the guitars up when they are soloing, particularly in your outtro. Very nicely played! cheers, -Tom

OK new mix up with main vox centered Big thanks Herb, glad you enjoyed Thanks Steve glad you liked. Thanks John, glad you liked. Lol at that Cheech & Chong vid, I had that on LP growing up and remember that before their first movie was made. Didn't know there was a vid until now, thanks for posting. Thanks Tom, glad you enjoyed, appreciate the compliment on the playing. Might be a bit more EQing before I'm satisfied with the solo tracks. Another big thanks to brother Ed, after trying for so long to get a good rocking bass groove going with a VSTi for this. I certainly regained an appreciation for a live seasoned bassist and Bapu sure delivered a great boogie groove.
