Have the aliens landed? Sorry about the humor but that's my first impression. Actually, this is interesting. Keeping it short though helps. Any longer could make it monotonous IMO. The levels are uneven. All the differnt parts sound good but the main instrument is too loud. I hear this as a transitional piece and should range from a mezzo piano to mezzo forte. I like it. Well done!

The originality is wonderful. The piece seems too perfect (I don't think 'too perfect' can actually be used but the meaning is understood). The velocities and durations are identical, at least that is what i perceive. Maybe this is what you are after in the piece. I would like to hear some variation in the durations, velocities and some legato between notes that sound as if they are swinging. Just my humble opinion. Regards, Lance
