Another with Demo Mode problems

Running the latest version of SPlat and all of a sudden it is opening in demo mode.  I have a good internet connection and have tried opening as Admin, and have uninstalled and reinstalled.  Windows 7 Enterprise with all latest patches on an HP laptop.  I put in a ticket already but thought I'd post here as well in case anyone had any suggestions.  I saw the recent problems others had with this and am hoping to get a fix soon as I am traveling and am unable to complete a couple of jobs since my main music system is over 3000 miles away, this is just my mobile setup.

    Hey Jon. Happened to me last week. Even though I install updates manually, I opened CCC and launched Sonar from the product list there. That restored normal functioning.

    Thanks for the response Bruce.  Well, the problem disappeared as mysteriously as it appeared.  Tried all day to get it to run properly yesterday and today it worked right out of the gate.  Oh well, at least I can work now :-)
