Assuming it's installed correctly, it should insert like any other soft synth.

What Craig said - with one minor caveat... for some unknown reason the usual launch time scan did not pick up the PLAY dll, so I had to scan manually, then it worked just fine.

I had to locate the Play dll and manually insert it into the Cakewalk VST folder, restarted X3 and it worked fine.
I had to do the same for my Ivory II program. For some reason Sonar's VST search function couldn't find either one on my computer.

ah, I should have mentioned that... their default location for the dll is odd, I changed it during the install process, but it was blind luck that I noticed.

I created a common folder for all plug-ins. Whenever I install something, I always choose a custom install and point to that folder...make life easier.
