[Answered] MIDI question

I realize this may be stupid but.... I have a MIDI file with multiple instruments in the one track. Each instrument seems to work properly in the cakewalk DXi synth the TTS1. Anyway how would I convert that into multiple MIDI files one for each instrument and assign each one to the dimension Pro or Fantom?

thank you
WSS

Process >  Run CAL > Split Channel to Tracks

EDIT: I should add that the Cakewalk Application Language (CAL) hasn't been formally supported for many versions. Most of the old CAL scripts still work, but this on can be a little wonky as I recall.  If it comes down to it, you can use Edit> Select > By Filter to cut-paste events on different channels to new tracks manually.
