[Answered] Pro Channel in Expanded.

Just some questions bout the pro channel..

1) How many different setups of  Pro channel does Expanded allow you to create?
For example does it allow you to create a unique  pro channle for the bus and different ones for the tracks?

2) Is it possible now to replace the EQ in the pro channel to Sonitus?

3) Can one of those new fancy fx chains be implemented as a module into the pro channel?

4) Will there ever be a convolution reverb module for pro channel.... where I could simply drag the impulse from the browser to the module? (Maybe I should patent that idea.....)

How many different setups of  Pro channel does Expanded allow you to create?

As many as you would like - you can save presets

For example does it allow you to create a unique  pro channle for the bus and different ones for the tracks?
Yes!  In addition to saving presets you can also create a default track and default bus ProChannel - just right-click and select 'Set Modules as Default for ...' and then everytime you create a new track or bus your default ProChannel will be waiting

    2) Is it possible now to replace the EQ in the pro channel to Sonitus?

No, but you can make the ProChannel pre or post FX bin if you have a Sonitus EQ setup you'd prefer to use.  Alternatively - you can use FX Chains

    3) Can one of those new fancy fx chains be implemented as a module into the pro channel?

No, FX Chains are their own beasts that live in your FX Bin alongside other effects.

    4) Will there ever be a convolution reverb module for pro channel.... where I could simply drag the impulse from the browser to the module?

That is a great idea - convolution reverb's can often eat a lot of CPU/RAM so you wouldn't want it on every track but it would super awesome to have bus preset for it and D&D would be stellar.  I'll def. pass it on to our dev and product teams
