[Answered] Rapture Expansion Paks

After installing my Rapture upgrade and the 1.1 update I then installed the 2 free expansion packs which seemed to install without a hitch. The problem is that they do not show up in the Program Browser. Anyone have any ideas or experiencing the same problem. Thanks in advance.

You could check to see that the folders are in the same place as the other folders.

    It's not in an obvious place either - it's in C:\All Users\Applcation Data\Cakewalk\Rapture\Programs

An easier way to check is to press the 'folder' icon (next to 'empty program') on Rapture itself, which opens to it (select 'load program') and the exp packs should be at the bottom.

Or press F5 while browser is in focus - worth a go

You did those installations in the correct order.  If SH1's suggestion of F5 (with the Program Browser open & 'in focus') doesn't work out, there's a last resort to force a new program scan.  Find the 'programs.lst' file in the same location that SH1 gave you, and delete or rename the file.  It will regenerate itself the next time that you launch Rapture.

I'd strongly suggest that you install the updates through Rapture 1.2.1.  There's a boatload of unique features added to RP 1.2, and the 1.2.1 update has required fixes and vastly improved audio results over 1.2.

Thanks Guys, I'll give that a go. I did not realize there was a update to Rapture 1.2.1.

You may need to press "F5" to refresh the browser for the new patches to show up.

After installing all the Rapture updates in the correct order and using the F5 key everything showed up in the program browser. Thanks again to all the posters who helped me out.

After installing my Rapture upgrade and the 1.1 update...
Are you sure that your original copy of Rapture was not already version 1.1? If so, then there was no need for this particular update. My copy of Rapture is over 2 years old and it is version 1.1.
