[Answered] Recording Acoustic Guitar

I am new to Sonar and trying to learn from scratch. I have recorded an audio track using a guitar through a mic connected to a Roland TRi Capture.  When I play the track back it only plays out of one speaker.
I have imported an audio track from the samples with Sonar and this plays through both speakers. Am I doing something wrong? I would be grateful for any help.

This happens when a mono signal is recorded on a stereo track. When recording make sure to select the correct mono input. It can be remedied on existing recordings by setting the track interleave to mono or bounce the track using the "Split Mono" Channel Format and discard the empty track or use Channel Tools set to the appropriate side of the track.
