Any Ancient Studioware Masters Out There?

Hi All.
I have reloaded my stone old Sonar 2 version so I can make studioware panels.
For the last couple of years I been working towards a mouse and keyboard free workflow with Sonar, using only a large Windows tablet.
Im creating some panels to get around Cakewalks somewhat timid implementation of touch.
So far its been quite useful in opening up all sorts of possibilities.
Since Studioware was dropped in the early naughties, I'm kind of hoping that there might be some old timers out there who can share some wisdom on the following:

Can anyone shed some light on the undocumented "Keystrokes" action?
What was its purpose?

i can enter text, but I haven't found a way to enter CNTL, ALT, Shift etc.
If I can launch a series of key strokes from a studioware panel, I can automate all sorts of things.

Cheers

I was just looking in to this a few days ago.
    this is what I read:

    Cakewalk site
While all owners of Cakewalk version 6.0 and later are able to use StudioWare Panels, only Pro Audio allows you to edit and design your own panels.

im guessing you are using Pro Audio to design your panels ?

    Hi Chuck
Looks last version of the Studioware editor was  in Sonar 2.2. Thats what I'm using.
Ive noticed a few extra features in this late version that are not documented in the help files, which seem to date from Pro Audio 9
eg Custom OEM Actions  and Keystroke Actions.
While many of Sonars functions can be accessed by using the Binding Action, Im hoping that I can use the Keystroke Action to reach commands that are not covered by Key Bindings.
