Any BIAB users having trouble with Drag & Drop into SONAR X1?

I am trying to use the Drag & Drop function from Band-in-a-Box into SONAR X1b. This used to work perfectly, and still does work with my version 8.5.3, but now, with X1b, I get "Busy" as the name of each imported audio track. The individual wave files never form, and so there is no sound. I have set everything in audio preferences back to 16 bit (and 44.1), but no change. I have waited an hour just to see if it would finally resolve. I have reported this on the PG Music BIAB forum, but no one could duplicate the problem and two others said it works for them in X1. Am I missing a setting in SONAR X1? Thank you.

Software: Cakewalk by Bandlab; Adobe Audition; Band-in-A-Box audiophile; Izotope Ozone; Encore; Melodyne; Win 10 Pro, 64-bit.

Hardware: Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 2nd; Roland Integra-7; TCE Finalizer; Presonus Central Station, Behringer X-Touch.  Home built i7 with 16 GB RAM, SSDs.

Sorry, It works for me.  Are you dragging from the instrument name into Sonar?  Just curious how you were doing it so I could try to help.

Thanks for your interest.  I tried that, one instrument at a time, after dragging the Combo did not work.  Neither method worked.

On the BIAB forum, several others also confirmed it works for them, and it used to work for me.  So, I'm puzzled.

It is working well here.  I have run into a problem at times if I have Sonar open first, so as a habit I now always open BIAB first, drag to the drop box in BIAB, and then open SOnar ,and then drag to Sonar.  Is the drop box in BIAB lighting up green when it is done and then not transferring or is BIAB not even getting to that point?

Thanks.  I never had to use the Drop Box before, and have not tried it with X1.  I have always just dragged the Combo button.

I'll have to try the Drop Box and see.
