Any Guitar Rig nerds out there?

I've got the metal patch just right but I want to make it sustain longer - as much as 3 measures at 130 bpm.

At the moment, it dies away too quickly. I've tried a Tube Compressor and all its presets but they're not doing it.

I know I can generate the audio and try to extend it by blending with a crossfade but there must be a better way?

Can anyone recommend the right settings or suggest how?

Thanks - rev

    Never rely on presets.

Use a compressor with a really fast attack and a really long release. Set the ratio to from  4:1 to 8:1 and Set the threshold accordinly and your output gain accordinly.

Also, maybe that guitar effect has a gate on it, so disable the gate.
