Any New Drum Kits?

Are there going to be any new drum kits included with Session Drummer, or do you all figure it'll just be the same ones that shipped with SONAR 8.5?

I'd LOVE to see more Steven Slate kits included. Those are some of the best ones, and I really want to see more integrated directly into Session Drummer 3, especially Slate's great metal kits :)

Probably too late to get such a request granted, X1 is probably being copied as we speak, but I'd love to see more kits in the future!

Anything like that I imagine would come out in the next few weeks. Notice they say that the key features of producer includes 'mastering effects'. We have no idea if those are the ones we already have, or if there are some new ones in the mix. Cake are not going to release everything in one hit. I'm sure the rest of the announcements will include all the new sound modules and new plugs and effects which we have not really heard anything about yet. This announcement looks to be just about the workflow enhancements (skylight, smart tools etc) as well as the ProChannel in Producer. Aside from giving more details on these workflow enhancements, all that's left to come are the processing mechanisms and sounds.

Check the comparison chart - http://www.cakewalk.com/P...-Comparison-Chart.aspx

'Mastering effects' and 'producer effects' means there are probably some new ones we don't know of yet, but they are not giving away the details for now. There has been no mention of v-vocal, maybe (hopefully) they have done something to it and improved the sound quality. It has been a while since an update so it's getting due for one soon.

Recently many type of drum kits are available but i think Steven Slate kits are the best kits because it's price are not costly and easy to learn and voice of this kits are so attractive.

Agreed. I think they make the most realistic sounding kits, thanks largely to the well done variable tones.
