Any suggestions for a reliable USB Wireless Adapter?
A few months back I bought a cheap Sabrent USB wireless adapater, and from day one it was temperamental at best. After a few weeks where it actually worked almost every time, something changed that is now preventing it from connecting to the internet - it sees my wireless connection, but won't acutally use it. After Googling and then trying a dozen different fixes, I've come to the conclusion that this thing is almost worth the $10 I paid for it.  So... has anyone had a good experience with any specific USB wireless adapter with their Win7 desktop machine?

I have this Edimax Wireless AC1200 (USB 3.0) adapter. I wanted something that's somewhat "future ready" (advertised as the "Worlds Fastest" 802.11ac adapter connected via USB 3.0) which I also have an Asus AC router (which enables it to get the higher speed bandwidth). If you don't have an ac router, it's backwards compatible with the current 802.11a/b/g/n standards......however, the 802.11ac speed test results simply blow away the current a/b/g/n standard. Drivers are well behaved (doesn't significantly increase DPC Latency)

I've been using an inexpensive Netgear A3100 for quite a while with no problems. I finished my detached garage and built my studio there with the wifi router in the house and it works fine. I really haven't every had any problems with it.
