Any way to monitor cpu usage?

Hi all,
Purchased MC7, downloaded, installed (64bit) so far so good, really liking it, a few questions:
1.Is there any way to monitor the cpu usage? there is no cpu core indicator anywhere that i can find, i hope there something as there is no way to know how much load there is on the processor. (yes I realize this is a feature limited version)
2. In Track View is there a way to make the meters horizontal instead of vertical?
3. I have Sonar 8.5.3 installed on this same pc (quad core, 8 gig, Win 7Pro 64) so i see most of the plugins showing up in MC7 "except" for boost 11? for some reason its not showing up, even after vst rescan etc...
4. Any way to adjust the track Eq? does it open up at all to adjust the Q curves?

Thanks,
really liking the new look and feel of MC7, if i ever get some cash i would def like to get Sonar Platinum.
Tommy

I don't have MC7 yet, but I don't believe MC5, 6 or 6 Touch any of them had CPU meters.  Sonar has CPU meters, I'm guessing this is a "premium" function you'd need full Sonar for.

    2) you can in Sonar, but I don't have MC7, so I'm not sure.

    3) I can't think of any reason Boost 11 would not work in MC7.  check to make sure it's not disabled in the Plugin manager for some reason.

    4) that wouldn't make sense.  I'm going to have to try to get MC7 so I can help you guys.

Thanks Beagle for taking the time,
Yes i figured since its a starter version some of these basic features would be omitted
I realize the Platinum version of sonar will have these features, i was just hoping i was missing something,
the cpu meter is a pretty basic thing, that's weird they would leave that out.
As for the Eq i can't get it to open up or fly out but if you hold Alt while clicking on the eq nodes you can adjust the Q.
Trust me if i had the dough i would have just upgraded to Sonar Platinum.

There are two additional Cakewalk DAWs between MC7 and SONAR Platinum at price points between MC7 and SONAR Platinum. The CPU meter is part of the Control bar in all versions of SONAR. CPU monitoring has never been an MC feature, it is left to Windows. The only fly out EQ in the Cakewalk line is in SONAR Platinum. The QuadCurve EQ in SONAR Profession and Curve EQ do not fly out. I can confirm Boost11 does not show up in the Audio FX list. Don't know if that is by design or not. This would be a question for tech support.

yes, I just got MC7 loaded and can confirm those as well.  the EQ will not fly out and the only way to set it to any frequency is by "sight" getting it approximately near one of the 5 guide lines.  that's not great, IMO, but there are some free VST EQs you can download and use.  check out voxengo, I think they've got a free EQ.
