Any way to not show duplicate clip data?

Something that seems really obviously annoying that doesn't seem to be fixable is the fact that if a clip contains any Take Lanes or resides in a Track Folder, that clip is always shown twice on the screen. Once in its track, and once in the folder, or else once in the take lane and once in the track. Create a track in a folder which has take lanes and you could see that clip THREE times in various forms. And they are all the same color, or near enough. 
 
This is immensely confusing. Is there any way to reduce these repeated visual cues on the page besides never using folders or take lanes?
