Anybody here using an Audient interface??

Just picked up a new Audient iD14.  Killer diller sound and converters.  Very simple and easy to use.  Stable and capable of low latency tracking.  HOWEVER, while it's easy to change latency/sample rate/buffers using the software controller/mixer that comes with it...Sonar doesn't seem capable of switching those settings from the preferences/audio dialog.  Plus, while it did fix several problems I was having with my MOTU Audio Express it really lets you know when you've started exceeding it's latency settings when loading up a project with plugins.  The MOTU would just stutter and pop...the Audient really barks at you with nasty digital hash.

But really my main question is about the ASIO settings dialog.  Anybody got their Audient being controlled by that instead of vice versa??

    Ol Pal,

    Though most do, some audio interfaces won't actually respond to clicking on the ASIO Panel button in Sonar.
    You have to adjust the ASIO buffer size in their control applet.

    Yup...that's the case with this Audient.  As a side note...I'm getting ready to put up a couple of interfaces, some sundry gear AND the Kemp on Ebay.  All proceeds to go directly to you Jim...it's new DAW time:-)

    Welp...I've had a major breakthrough with this here Audient.  Turns out that even when you reset the latency on the Audient mixer...you still have to go into the Sonar Prefs/Audio drivers and hit "apply" as well.  It's pretty convoluted but it solves most all the problems I was having with both the Audient AND my new Zynaptiq Adaptiverb.  Live and learn.  Now if Native Instruments can just get my Kontakt 5 working again I might be able to uncurl out of this fetal position and quit suckin my thumb and cryin.

    @Larry...what plugin deal??
