Anybody wanna collab? I need some inspiration!
Hey. The channels getting a bit dry and I would like to see if I can get the creativity flowing again by collabing with someone. It can be pretty much any style you want. And heck, if enough people reply, we could get the FORUM COLLAB going again!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA but seriously. Collab anyone? T

I'll join in if I can wait 'til after Easter -- most all of my creative energies are going into liturgies at the moment. Cheers, Russ

I think this should go round in a loop to each person. here's the loops Badbib tclark Ognis pwal I have the file at the moment, so ill let you know, ognis, when its ready to pass on. Russ you can join at a later stage if you so wish, and that goes forr anyone else, but remember you will be put at the end of the list, wherever we are at. Badbib just to confirm. Is it ok to use your file server? T

True, I thought that you could open sonar projects in P5 ? Or is that just that you can open P5 projects in Sonar ? As for the 3rd party plugs, I don't know, what about instruments ? I hope we aren't confined to doing an entire jazz peice via just P5's imstruments ?

I used DimPro and P5 effects. I have sonitus and Sonar if you need but I can't use Sonar (don't know how). and umm... I didn't use any 3rd party plug, I used battery3 for the drums, but I exported to audio. so far, drums, double bass, trumpet, rhodes, and tenor sax.

But, I just figured we'd deal with audio.

yeah its all internal P5 from what i've done. It's just about ready to pass on - done a few extra drums and an audio track of some guitar. Slightly rearranged it to make it into more of a song. I've got Sonar etc aswell, so the sonitus fx could be used if needed. T

Here's the most recent version that i've done. The guitar was just an afterthought and it can be easily scrapped. But I think it's time for me to pass on the file to whoever's next. Just one word from Badbib that we can use his ftp and we're on our way, otherwise i can just email it. T EDIT; Could a sonar user possible use audiosnap to make the guitar track a bit mroe in-time? Im not very sure about how audiosnap works so would be grateful if someone could do that instead of me!

and I did nothing finished, just did a few loops that I passed to Tim. Make it anyway you want to, and keep it P5, so we can all rework on what others did, it's more fun this way.

I can if you want, but not sure what I'd lock it to at this point. BTW, the cymbles at 1:50 or whatever need some serious work!

go for the piano and go for some audiosnapping! The cymbals will pretty much definately get worked over during this process. The track's sure to change alot as it goes from person to person. Are you ready to take the track ognis? I've done all I can for now without pushing myself to put something down. T

Inbox cleaned - forgot you can only have 4 messages! I've got it zipped up, but its a pretty large file as it has a bit of audio in it. Do you need an account for filefront? Also, how do i make a protected .rar? as that might be better than a .zip T

Um, I think when you select the "add to archive" or whatever, that makes the rar window come up, check the second tab, it should be on the right hand side. Also, if the file is too large for filefront, then use the free utility "hjsplit" to split the file up ino smaller peices (after you've made the rar). I'm about to take a shower, eat, etc, so might not be back for about 2 hours, so, if you need any help, I'll be around for the next 15 mins. BTW, if you have windows live messenger, we could send straight though there.
