Anybody watch the American Music Awards ??
I did, and I saw lots of dynamite and lame performances. I didn't care for Katy Perry's performance even though normally I like her...I thought Miley Cyrus stole the show with her performance of "Wrecking Ball."
I got lots of inspiration for new music by watching all the other performers doing their thing.

Yes it's amazing that nobody is talking about one of the most important awards program out there...many very big names performed at this show, but nobody here is talking about it. I guess Taylor Swift's name is mud around here.

It's not shown over here (unless I missed it) but Taylor Swift & Lady Antebellum..'country'? Both sound like 'pop' to me. Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, One Direction...yawn.

I didn't realize there was an important award show. I understand the entertainment value for some, but getting trophies for music or movies is pointless.

Well the awards show had everybody who is doing very well in record sales and download sales rewarded for their success...I watched the show to keep up with what's currently popular. All the current big names were there. By watching the performances I got many ideas for new music. I thought the show was pretty cool. The big surprise for me was Miley Cyrus. I wasn't a big fan of hers before the show, but I am now. She's a dynamite singer.
