Anyone Using the Waves CLA Artist Collection- and Digging It?

I bought it when the price went to $179 at the end of the year.  However, it's yet to make even one of my mixes- even though I've tried a few times!  Part of it is the stuff is very resource intensive.  The other part is I just don't know that it's adding any mojo to the track- but that could be me not 'getting it'.  Would appreciate some thoughts on it.

Use it I do...and dig it I do.  Haven't noticed it being a resource hog either.  I find it very useful for getting good "quick" results when mixing my commercial projects.  Although I will say Chris's stuff is geared more to the big Pop/Rock sounds.  Stand outs to me are drums, bass and special fx. YMMV.

I have found drum and bass plugins useful.  In the following demo clip drums are mixed using CLA drum instances:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZ5-JnZA2Vw

    Drum mics:
    • Kick: D112 inside
    • Snare: SM57 / C451
    • Hi-Hat: C451
    • OH: KM184 A-B
    • Room: C414B-ULS A-B
    • 12" Tom: SM57
    • 14" Tom: MD441
Bass: Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe DI -> CLA-Bass.
Guitars: LP Trad & some AXE FX II preset.
Massive reverb is from Perfect Space but otherwise all drum EQ, compression and gating is done using CLA instances.
I could achieve similar sound by using other plugins but using CLA saves time and there's no reason why I would not leave those instances in this project.
