Anyone With Cthulhu
I am noticing that if I start playback with a three note chord on the very first beat of the measure, and I start playback at the start of that measure, I am not getting all the notes of the three note chord. This also happens at the very first measure. So when I rewind and hit play, it's not playing what it's suppose to. Can anyone with Cthulhu confirm this?

I have never started a project with data at measure 01:01:000 If you move everything out to 02:01:00 it gives the midi engine a chance to "breathe" before processing data

That's my work-around Colin. Just wanted to see if anyone else was having the same issue or if I had a setting messed up. Thanks for the reply.

+10 with Bristol. I always start at measure 2. Call it a chance to breathe if you'd like, but for me, it's a chance to count-in to happen and for me (really what it's about) to get ready
A rack of noisemakers is not a definitive substitute for creativity. (though it does seem to help) what I spend my lunch time doing: (don't laugh - its just for fun!) www.soundclick.com/rnewburn

Louisiana, cool! One of the reasons I took interest in Cakewalk was because it supported the the non-Euclidean architecture VST shub-system. I waited strange aeons for tek-e-li-li support because I was hearing the maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes when an idiot would have known that I just needed to uninstall the Azathoth daemon. Good luck.

I wish this could get fixed, or at least implement count-in measure. If you do any EDM-like material, you are quite reliant on the measure count to know when to break up in 8, 16, 32 measures, and having to move the measure even one bar messes up the math. You can move it 4, but then it messes up the count by 4 then. I know they have cleaned up the midi quite a bit even before BandLab days, but hopefully, then can do some more work regarding the Midi engine, it have some issues still that still need to be addressed.

Many users have been asking for this for ages. I can remember asking back in the Pro Audio days. So it's not a new request. I dabble in synth based music, and being able to correctly rely on measure count would make all our lives that much easier. Even with just 4/4 rock music it would help greatly.
